Service Description

Ready to confidently tackle sewing patterns? In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to read, understand, and use a sewing pattern from start to finish. We’ll break down pattern envelopes, sizing, fabric requirements, layout guides, symbols, and step-by-step instructions so you can approach any project with clarity and confidence. I will provide sewing machines, tools, and a beginner-friendly pattern for you to learn from. You’re also welcome to bring a pattern and fabric for a project you’ve been wanting to start! If you plan to bring your own pattern, please reach out ahead of time to explain what you’ll be working on so I can review it and be fully prepared to support you during class. This workshop is perfect for beginners ready to move beyond simple projects, as well as sewists who want to better understand how patterns work. Come ready to learn, ask questions, and leave feeling empowered to take on your next sewing project!
